Susan Fales-Hill started her career in television as a writer on "The Cosby Show" and soon after transferred to the show's spin-off, "A Different World." She then went on to write for "Kirk", "Suddenly Susan", and "Can't Hurry Love" just to name a few. In 2003, she published a memoir about her mother, Josephine Premice, which received numerous awards. As busy as she is, Ms. Fales-Hill also finds time to serve on the boards of the Studio Museum in Harlem and The American Ballet Theatre.
WNSR's Roy Paul sat down with Ms. Fales-Hill to discuss her debut novel, "One Flight Up" which deals with four successful women who strive to find balance between pleasure and happiness. And while she was here, we also spoke about the role African-Americans play in the media industry, and her take on a few interesting 'hot topics'.
