Continest Technologies Plc. have installed and put into operation the very first test-lab using foldable container technology in Budapest. Pain Ambulance has re-opened its unit at Csörsz street on the 13th May, where beside their major focus the musculoskeletal injuries, physiotherapy and biomechanical examinations they test for Corona virus as well. Focusing on their extensive core activities and on the safety of their clients they decided to evolve a Smart Covid Centre outdoors. This testing room is set up from foldable containers therefore completely separating its clients for safety reasons.
The testing centre is operated by professional of the Pain Ambulance. It has been set up from two 10-feet containers equipped with water connection which secures agility and efficiency for their sampling point. The sampling room provides comfortable and safe environment for each the serological tests, the PCR, the antigen rapid tests and the combined test. The analysis and the evaluation of the samples are carried out in a separate microbiological laboratory. Being isolated from the main building this temporary test-lab enables a consumer friendly, quick and effective pre-examination of the patience and secures a completely separate space from the patience registration section.
Fighting against Covid-19 pandemic is not an unbeaten track for Continest whose core business is producing and marketing innovative, foldable container technology mainly for the events industry and the defence sector. The company launched its new product named ContiLab where American and Hungarian microbiologists, virologists, professionals from the Hungarian Defence Forces’ Institute of Modernization, designing engineers and economic experts are working together in developing a sampling and molecular diagnostics laboratory using foldable container technology which is truly mobile and rapidly deployable. The mobile laboratory developed for special sample collection and molecular diagnostics can conveniently stay at your disposal besides Covid-19 during any other pandemics as well thanks to its rapidly – within 3 hours – deployable solution. The advantage of the ContiLab laboratory-prototype lies in being independent from hospitals and health care units to decrease the pressure on the overloaded health care workers as well as the risk of contamination and infection. Besides the Hungarian authorities Finnish, Israeli and Kuwait organizations are interested in the modular ContiLab laboratories. Due to its exceptional and cost-effective mobility as well as its high sampling capability and closed infrastructure (in contrary to tents or drive-through solutions) ContiLab’s invention is deployable to any particular or high-priority areas. Thanks to its secure and modular system it can be used as a temporary or permanent structure providing rapid and immediate response in any critical situation with that meaning a safe and secure spot to restart our economic and everyday life.
