MACards DEMO Session - CHOOSING a VACATION PLACE (Decision Making 101 series)

In this video I am sharing a demo session on HOW TO MAKE A DECISION with the help of Metaphorical Associative Cards ( #MACards ) . I am choosing a place for a vacation between 3 options with the help of "MORENA" deck (by OH Publishing house).

This video is vertical and it is part of the series of videos with information
on different DECISION MAKING TOOLS and a few demo sessions.

In 2020 there will be a video with some tips for travelling to Mexico.

TIPS on your own work with MACards:

1) choose a deck of cards (for decision making sessions I recommend taking a deck where there are positive, neutral and a few negative, more strained cards (metaphors). A coaching deck might work as well if there is a good variety of options there, and I would choose in some cases only part of the deck with enough amount of variety which might in terms of emotions one can feel in a trip, whatever it is. A deck for working with traumas would NOT be a good choice as we don't want to trigger any strong emotions here. A portrait deck can work as well if there is a variety of moods there.

From OH series - "Morena" , "1001 Nights" can be best.
From Russian / Ukrainian decks - many decks would be fine.
Abstact decks, decks with nature elements also can be good.

If you don't have a MACards deck then you can take an oracle cards deck with variety of subjects / objects / associations. Some Tarot decks might be ok as well, however do not read them with definitions and Tarot system, but rather as MACards looking at WHAT RESONATES in YOU RIGHT NOW?

2) Connecting to the card and interpreting the card:
Describe what you see. Possible questions to ask:
Who is on the card?
What do the heros feel?
What they think?
What they would say?
Would they want to go to that place for a vacation?
Do you see yourself on the card?
Where are you if you are not there?
Would you go to that place for a vacation?
.... and other questions.

3) You can also use scaling as described in the video

4) You can use as well words as a supplementary tool, if you don't have a similar deck with words, you can use the book method - a) choose which option / card you are choosing the word for b) open a random book on a random page and decide in advance the number of the line and word (or you can open the book and point on a word without looking there (not consciously choosing). Setting an intention is important.

5) Choose which place feels like the best one for a vacation. You can ask supplementary questions and even take a couple of extra cards. However it is important to listen to yourself, your intuition and not to get carried away with choosing a lot of cards.

Tech details:
I actually shot this video also to test how to make videos in a vertical format so that one can watch them on a phone in a vertical format. however it seems that it still is showing as a horizontal video on a phone. if you know how to do that, let me know in the comments! appreciate the tips.
