Hiking "Bell Rock" in Sedona Arizona - Amazing Views of the Red Rock Canyons! - What to Expect & Recommendations

Location: Coconino National Forest - Munds Mountain Wilderness (Red Rock Country) in Sedona, AZ (All Trails direction link below)
Length: 0.8 mile out-and-back
Duration: 1-1.5 hrs
Difficulty: Moderate
Elevation Gain: 203 ft
Fee: ($5 Day Pass) Munds Park Wilderness charges a fee to park. A pay station is located at the trail head. You can also purchase an American The Beautiful Pass ahead of time.
Open: Year round

Parking: This is a very popular hike & there are limited parking spots available in both lots. I suggest going early & during the week if you want to avoid crowds. The weekends will be very busy!

Starting from The "Bell Rock Climb" Trailhead, just off the parking lot. This route is very popular for hiking, running, walking & sightseeing, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. There are endless video/ photo opportunities on this route of the Red Rock landscape, valley, mountains & Bell Rock. Honestly one of the most beautiful places I've been to on Earth! The best time to visit is October - May but it's open year round. Even though the elevation is (4,350 ft) the summer months temperature can still reach over (100 F) consistently. Also, you're completely exposed to the sun on this route. Make sure to bring plenty of water, even during the winter months. The route is fairly easy & manageable for most people but be aware of ice (Nov-Feb) forming on the rocks, as it becomes very slippery. I highly recommended hiking boots! Dogs are welcome! Kid friendly!
