Hi guys! As you could probably tell, I am a huge Disney fan and Aladdin is amongst my top 3 favorite Disney movies, if it isn’t my absolute favorite one! I LOVE the songs from the original, and I was so intrigued by this new song that I had to do my own rendition of it too! I love how the live action version has emphasized the empowerment of women. Jasmine was always an outspoken and independent character, even in the original, but the new adaptation has made her into a 21st century role model.

I am dedicating this song to all the female role models out there who are fighting for the empowerment of women!

BTW, this video was filmed on Shodoshima, which is an island a little bit north of Takamatsu (in Shikoku, Japan).

The significance of this windmill is that it appeared in Miyazaki's "Majo no Takkyubin" (in English, "Kiki's Delivery Service"). Anyways, great fun; hope you had fun watching it too!
