I am technical recruiter who is interviewing for a technical recruitment role at Facebook. Here is how I'm preparing.
Get my story straight:
The old "Tell me about yourself" question. I talk about how I plan to answer this question and the importance of getting your story straight.
Explore who I am speaking with:
We live in an age where we can assess before hand the values of the individuals that will be interviewing us.
Orient A Proper Mindsets:
1. How Can I Help
2. Excited to learn from an accomplished peer
3. I am already a great X now, with more room to grow
4. I don't need the job in the end
Get excited about the role
I make sure that I am emotionally excited about the possibility of the role.
Acknowledge that you want the job, let go of the need to get it
I imagine what it will be like to not get the job and accept that result as acceptable.
