Should I Learn Japanese for Karate?

Today we're going to discuss whether it's important to learn the Japanese language as a karateka. Some dojos choose to lean into the cultural element of Japanese martial arts, whereas others choose to forgo this and teach in their students' native language? Which is better, and how do we tell what we should learn?
