This week, Mark Goodwin, author of The Bitcoin-Dollar: An Economic Monomyth and contributor to Unlimited Hangout, launches a new four-part series of solo video presentations at the Solari Report titled “Digital Money, Digital Control.”

In this first episode, Mark helps us “decrypt” the new financial system, taking us through the history of the U.S. officially leaving the gold standard in 1971, the establishing of the petrodollar, and the current transition to a Bitcoin-dollar system. As he explains, it is important to view the development of cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins, in the context of preserving and extending the dollar system.
