At the beginning of June, I reluctantly tried a 7-day cleanse, eating only fruits and vegetables and drinking tons of water. The purpose is to reset your digestive system and boost your metabolism. After it was done, I felt entirely refreshed with no cravings and a better mood!! The rest of June I continued to eat clean and make better choices, which let me lose 10 pounds!!
I’m doing the cleanse again, only now it’s July. I ended up being less strict this time because our bodies need protein, but this change has done so much for me.
This is NOT a long term diet or solution, because we need other sources of vitamins and minerals in our bodies. However, there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian meal ideas in this video since I was so strict this week 🤪
