The Crazy Gangster Puzzle || Russian Roulette Puzzle

You are kidnapped by a crazy gangster who has a 6-shot revolver.
Initially all six chambers of the cylinder are empty.
He puts two bullets into adjacent chambers (in front of you)...spins it and closes the cylinder...
He now puts the gun to your head & pulls the trigger...
Luckily you survive....

He is now going to pull the trigger again... but before he proceeds he asks you for your preference whether:
1 - He should re-spin the cylinder and then pull the trigger... or
2 - He should pull the trigger right away (without spinning)...

(If you survive this shot as well... then you will be allowed to go home.)
So, which option would you prefer to maximize your chances of survival...

This puzzle is derived from a crazy lethal game called Russian Roulette in which a player places a single bullet in a revolver, spins the cylinder, places the muzzle against their head, and pulls the trigger.
