Using delays (or echo) in a mixing situation is not an overly complicated thing but I just think there tends to be confusion around the subject of delay throws. If you are already using delays in your mixes then you're probably already using a delay throw but you just may not know it. Do you have any rhyming words or phrases that have a delay attached to it? If the answer is yes then you are most likely using a delay throw. So let's get into the nitty gritty of it and then I'll show a couple of examples of how you can use it in your mixes....
