The COMPETITION is FIERCE when job hunting #techlayoffs #softwareengineer

Just me scrolling through Linkedin premier and getting excited about there being so "few" people who have applied to a job in the tech industry?

There is definitely fierce competition when it comes to software engineer positions. And probably for anyone else who has been effected by the 2023 tech layoffs.

I believe it will get better, in fact, at this point I am already starting to see fewer job postings with over 100 applicants!

But I had to laugh and create this video when my husband saw a job posting he was qualified for with "only" 49 applicants and that's what convinced him to apply for the position. 😂
