Classical Tetraquark (non-Chaotic) #quantum #quarks #simulation #threebodyproblem #science

Simulation of four classical quarks orbiting each other in the center-of-mass frame. "Classical" because they are treated as classical particles obeying Newton's 2nd Law. The force between them is taken to be a Coulomb-like attractive force plus an attractive constant force. Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) predicts a "static quark potential" which implies this type of force.

Since we are dealing with a four-quark system, we may regard this as a classical tetraquark, which is a fairly exotic hadron.

Although this is a four-body problem, the initial conditions of this simulation are symmetric enough to produce a motion that is not chaotic. Another simulation which exhibits chaos can be found on my channel, next to this one!
