This video is all my tips and tricks to self-study math. Studying without the incentives of grades can be very liberating, but you also lose supports and structure from class. My daily routine after I've chosen a great resource for structure is:
1) Predict. Try and predict what you THINK will be the big ideas of the section and how they work together. This is helpful even if you're completely wrong!
2) Learn from experts. This is where you watch the YouTube video or work through the Brilliant course etc.
3) Practice, practice, practice. The more the better. You gotta flex those math muscles. Also practice.
4) Connections. Actively make connections between topics, to what you did before, ask questions, and predict the math future.
5) Assess. Make sure you actually understood the content, right now and into the future.
