Squad Explorer - Multitouch Content Explorer

This is an interactive multitouch content explorer we made to showcase the company's portfolio on our multitouch tables.

The software was made using PyMT: a Python API for multitouch development.

The application is entirely driven by a free-form xml file, meaning it can be formatted in any way needed, so as to adapt to any content organization.
The explorer can display images, video and other sub-applications, made using the same platform.

The application first shows a single node, which represents a node in the xml file. This node can be expanded to show any other nodes defined inside it, and each child node can do the same, according to the xml file structure. If a node defines a content item, such as an image or video, a pop-out widget is created and can be dragged off the content tree for closer viewing.
