second sunrise (first half, will repost full song)

(Wrote this an hour or two ago, couldn't seem to get a take with the whole song so here's the first half of it)

Morning
As the sun begins to sing
The birds open their wings But with no
Warning
The sky opens above
A sky once full of love
Hugs the ground with floods
Love is such a fickle thing

Sunrise,
We say "sure as the sun will rise"
And if I could count the times
That those lovesick lullabies
Would tide me over
I'd ride, til it's over,
With nothing wittier to sing
Life is such a fickle thing.

Sunrise,
Always bids the stars goodbye
At the end of the long night
Without ever asking why
As we lose the moon
Birds will sing their tune
What is prettier than spring?
Life is such a fickle thing.

Old words,
stuck like food between your teeth
With the image underneath
But I heard
As the doors slammed without a word
From the sound of the absurd
The song of morning birds
Love is such a loaded word

As the rainstorm washed the seeds away
The farmer sat and cried
But who could have knew, a garden grew
Along the riverside
The snow melts flooding everything
Winter has it's way,
But love is still found underground
Winter always brings the spring
Life is such a pretty thing.
