So this is an example work of me doing the full cycle from modeling the gun and importing it into Unity & Unreal. I deliberately picked the PBR Gloss setup from Substance so that I can come up with a simple custom shader to mimic the full visual.
It's not perfect obviously. Did it in sort of a rush so there are definitely places that can be improved, fixed, done better etc. But the end result isn't too bad if you ask me :)
