A year ago I started living my life for myself, by leaving something that didn’t serve me.
For the first 32 years, I was living to make others happy. It cost me my happiness, physical & mental health. One year ago today was a rebirth.
“Never rained in the desert ‘til I picked me for the very first time.”
It was the hardest choice I made; there was a lot unknown about the future. I was in survival mode. All I could do was take it one day at a time. It’s amazing to see all the opportunities that came after I prioritized myself, from once in a lifetime travel experiences to connecting w inspirational women. I did my first live speaking event, collaborated w experts in the PCOS & South Asian communities & two TEDx speakers. I manifested a job which allows me to live my dream life & has opened other doors.
“It’s darkest before the sunrise.”
It was the most challenging year of my life w hitting rock bottom while going through a divorce, moving & rebuilding my life, breaking my ankle & helping a family member w a health problem (all at once).
However, it has been the best year. Todays a celebration of a year of self discovery, acceptance, care & love- the fuel for me to continue blooming.
I’ve become a better coach by living a fulfilled life! I’m able to serve my clients whole heartedly while practicing what I preach & being the healthiest I’ve been. I get to teach about self acceptance, care & love & setting healthy boundaries to help them manage their PCOS. In the past year, Ive also launched an online course & cultivated a community!
“I deserve congratulations
‘Cause I came out the other side
I’d never thought that I’d survive”
Even though I chose the road less traveled & continue to do so, I am so grateful to have an amazing support system w God, my Gurus, & the Universe. Also, my friends & family have helped me get through the tough times & celebrated w me.
ALL things are possible after you realize that you deserve better. And this is your sign to start picking yourself first! The journey begins with prioritizing your health!
