Another name for God is LOVE. God is pure love. This type of spiritual love is universal, unconditional and without judgement. We give spiritual love without identification with the body, the ego or a need or want. Spiritual love is whole and complete without fear or separation and comes from Spirit. A special love such as a romantic love or a parent’s love can be conditional and transactional. That is, we have a condition for the love we give and it is fear and ego driven.
To find ways to open up to spiritual love: 1) Be still and meditate. Allow the stillness to bring realization of spiritual love. 2) Practice drawing spiritual love to you by placing your hand on your heart to activate the spiritual heart where you integrate your higher and lower self. 3) Choose spiritual love through prayer. Invite love to come in and teach you unconditional love. That is, go deeper and let it be.
