Did you know this is the first website ever?
In 1989, British scientist Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web and published the first website ever.
Tim worked for CERN or the European Council for Nuclear Research. He hosted the first website on his NeXT Computer with the goal of allowing scientists and universities to share information with ease. This archaic website described the World Wide Web (W3) project itself and was the start of the Internet Era as we know it today.
