Welcome to my aesthetic desk setup in a small space tutorial! I’m a software engineer who’s recently moved into a small space and need a proper desk setup in 2024. In this setup tutorial, watch me turn a tiny space and closet, into an amazing work from home space.

I am absolutely not a handy girl so doing this was extremely out of my comfort zone. I love a minimalist, modern aesthetic so that’s what I was aiming for here. Because I work from home, I needed this desk setup to be functional and promote a full 8 hour work day.

I was also on a budget. Like I said, I recently moved so furnishing this apartment has been a whole thing. I’ve been working hard to try to make this space aesthetic and modern while not blowing too much of my budget. Because of how my studio apartment is set up, I truly felt like I had nowhere to put my desk or monitor. I held out for a while, doing my work on my kitchen counter but I’m over it and really excited to have a formal working station from here on out!
