GCSE Chemistry Memorization techniques - GCSE Resits!

Alex is back with some GCSE memory hacks for chemistry students! In this video we’ll share quick and easy mnemonics to help you remember key chemistry concepts in under 30 seconds just in time for your GCSE resits and also great for your GCSE mock exams revision!

Oil Rig: Oxidation is the loss of electrons, reduction is the gain of electrons.
Have No Fear Of Ice Cold Beer: A nice way to remember the diatomic molecules: hydrogen, nitrogen, fluorine, oxygen, iodine, chlorine, bromine.

Red Cap: Reduction happens at the cathode, oxidation at the anode.
