What's In It Wednesday, where we take a random everyday object (in this case, a solar-powered calculator) and produce a radiograph to see what's inside.
Radiographs are 2D images produced by the XCT machine. In the radiograph, we can see the interior structure of the object as the X-rays pass through and interact with various materials.
The radiography provides a fascinating glimpse into how calculators do number things.
It's always fun to see everyday objects in a new way.
