Gen AI has come a long way in the past 12 months. To show just how far Buska Video Founder, Martin Gent ran the original image through Runway’s #Gen2 tool to bring it to life. Turns out Théâtre d'Opéra Spatial as it’s called auto-animates surprisingly well. 🙌

Credit to Jason M. Allen who created the original image using Midjourney. It won in the ‘digital arts/digitally-manipulated photography’ category. Allen credited Midjourney on his entry but back then neither of the judges knew it was an AI image generator. They later said they still would have awarded Allen the top prize had they known AI was involved.
