‘Just not the same’: Call for women’s-only spaces to not be ‘invaded by trans people’

Sky News host Peta Credlin says women and girls “must be able to have” women’s-only areas as a federal court judge rules gender concepts are “changing”.

“A federal court judge declared gender concepts are changing and a women’s-only app has excluded a trans woman now described as a female on her birth certificate and that now is unlawful discrimination,” Ms Credlin said.

“If there are to be safe spaces for women … spaces like our own toilets, change rooms, even domestic violence shelters, well, these spaces can’t be invaded by trans people in the name of equal rights, because we are different … it is just not the same.”
