Become a UI UX or Product Designer with no experience or college degree by looking at how you're actively developing your skills. My name is Anik Devaughn. And in this video, I cover the steps you should take in order to rapidly grow your skills as an up-and-coming UX / UI / Product Designer. You can do it all on your own or within a healthy, learning environment. People, schools, and boot camps always try to push a system of learning that is flawed and poorly designed. They try to help you learn UX / UI / Product Design, but they forgot to DESIGN the learning experience! I've gone through the process of discovering a passion, all the way to mastering the craft, in multiple creative professional fields. As a mentor, I have figured out what ways will help you grow and develop a skill fast and efficiently. I've helped people switch careers, jumping into the design industry from completely different fields. Today, they work as designers at companies like Twitter, Accenture, and Google. The methods I'll go over in this video actually align EXACTLY with some of the studies that are covered by K. Anders Ericsson, from his book Peak, as well as Malcolm Gladwell in his book Outliers.
