I made a test tube terrarium

this was a fun project,. and ill be doing way more cool stuff like this.

Sealed terrariums trap moisture and heat, creating a self-sustaining system ideal for tropical plants, while open terrariums allow airflow and are better suited for cacti and succulents. They are often used for decorative purposes, educational demonstrations, or as a hobby.

An ecosphere is a closed ecosystem that contains living organisms (like plants, algae, and small animals) and non-living elements (such as water, air, and rocks) that work together in a self-sustaining environment. The term can have two main meanings:

Scientific/Ecological Context:
It refers to the global ecosystem of Earth, encompassing all living organisms and their interactions with the atmosphere, hydrosphere (water), and lithosphere (land). Essentially, it’s the planet’s “life-support system.”
Closed Ecosystem (Miniature Model):
An Ecosphere can also refer to a sealed glass sphere containing water, shrimp, algae, and bacteria. These self-sustaining systems rely on sunlight to power photosynthesis, which supports the oxygen and food needs of the shrimp. They demonstrate how ecosystems can balance themselves without external input, except for light and temperature regulation.
