"Orifice" is a performance art about hearing and the human reaction to what he/she is hearing.
The "Orifice" was created first by Alireza Keymanesh for the festival "Thirty Performances, Thirty Artists, Thirty Days" at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in 2015.
After that, the performance was recreated in a collaboration between Amir Pousti and Alireza Keymanesh and performed for ten days in a row in 2017 at Rooberoo Mansion in Tehran, Iran. As a performer, two different artists participated in the Orifice each day, among them: Nader Mashayekhi, Roya Nonahali, Ali Akbar Alizad, Houman Kiaei, Ali Asghar Dashti, Ali Bagheri, Khatereh Hatami, Sadegh Malek, Shima Mahdavi, Behzad Omrani, Mehrdad Mostafavi, Katayoon Saleki, Siamak Farsi, Masih Kazemi, Saleh Tasbihi, and Mohammad Abbasi.
