Lady Owen's Delight is a traditional Welsh tune. I found the melody in a book, and don't think I've heard it performed anywhere, so this is my interpretation of how I expect it should sound. I picture it as stately court dance. I arranged the tune originally for my course on Alternate Tunings a Peghead Nation, and it's also transcribed in my book Alternate Tunings for Fingerstyle Guitar, available on Amazon.
The arrangement is in "C-GAD" tuning, CGDGAD, a tuning often associated these days with guitarist El McMeen, although El learned the tuning from Dave Evans, and its been used by many other guitarists. I decided that I liked the sound of this tune with a capo at the 3rd fret. I'm playing a Kathy Wingert Model E guitar.
