🦷✨ Restoring Fractured Teeth with a Biomimetic Approach! 🌟

Take a glimpse into the procedure overview for restoring a fractured tooth with a biomimetic restoration (overlay). Our goal is to restore the tooth’s structural integrity, prevent catastrophic failures, and preserve your natural teeth for the long term. 💪✨

Procedure Overview:
1️⃣ Removal of existing restorations and evaluation: I like to start with the double inverted cone bur from @kometusa single-use burs. I use it at 200k RPM with the Bien-air Nova electric handpiece from @bien_air_north_america.
2️⃣ Gross Preparation: I continue with the double inverted cone bur and also use round diamonds and medium round end tapered burs from @kometusa single-use burs. My favorite is the occlusoshaper bur, which I use in multiple ways.
3️⃣ Caries Removal and Final Preparation: I continue with round burs and use a fine flame diamond for the margins.
4️⃣ IDS and Restorative Foundation: This part is critical for maximum adhesion and success. Here I am using the everX flow dentin shade from @gcamericainc for resin coating and creating a small restorative foundation.
