LED Chaser with Variable Speed.
In this project, I have use CD4017B and NE555 Timer IC to make LED CHASER. It is a variable speed LED Chaser as the speed of led flash can be controlled by changing the value of potentiometer of pulse wave generator.

The CD4017B is the one of the most popular Decade Counter (Divided by 10 Counter). It is a 5 Stage Divide by 10 Johnson Counter with 10 Decoded outputs.
The 555 timer IC is an integrated circuit (chip) used in a variety of timer, delay, pulse generation, and oscillator applications.
