3 Simple Habits That Can Transform Your Life

Here I discuss 3 simple habits that can have a major transformative effect on your life!

1. Running (exercising and weight lifting as well, but mainly, running!). Running (as well as weight lifting) to me has become more important because of the mental benefit. It provides an opportunity to push yourself and go beyond your limits. To face difficulty and push through it. These are things we do in our lives so strengthening our minds through exercising, allows us to apply that same strength to other life obstacles.

2. Reading. Nonfiction books that can help you develop different views and perspectives on life can open your mind up to many new thought processes. These thought processes can then be applied to your own life as you continue to journey through life and towards fulfillment.

3. Self reflection. Self reflection allows us to gain knowledge and wisdom from all experiences we face in our lives, throughout our days, our weeks, months and years. If you've had a bad week, take a moment to yourself to assess the week. What made it bad? What have I learned from it? How possibly has this week made me stronger? Wiser? More confident to take on the difficulty that may lie ahead? In self reflection, we can dissect happenings for little tidbits that can benefit us going forward. We learn more about ourselves, our capabilities, our strengths, weaknesses and how to transform those weaknesses into strengths. So find your quiet place and self reflect!
