A lot of websites now-a-days have this skeleton loading instead of traditional loading spinner. If we see it on youtube and if I refresh the page then we see a skeleton loading while data is fetched, similarly if we go on booking.com a skeleton screen is used as a placeholder preview of your content before the data gets loaded to reduce load-time frustration.

I will show you how you can build a generic react component with CSS animation and use it as a placeholder for different data loading like headings, content, components or card data loading.
