🍤 Crispy Shrimp Sushi Rolls Recipe 🍣
🧂 Ingredients:
• 🥄 3 tbsp olive oil
• 🍤 1 cup washed prawns (shrimp)
• 🌿 Pinch of turmeric
• 🧂 Salt (to taste)
• 🫧 Rice paper (2 per sushi roll)
• 🌊 Sushi seaweed (nori sheet)
• 🍚 Cooked sushi rice
• 🥒🥕 Cucumber and carrot (julienned)
• 🥑 Avocado slices
• ⚫⚪ Black and white sesame seeds
• 🍶 Soy sauce (for serving)
👩🍳 Preparation:
1️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
• 🔥 Heat a pan or wok and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
• 🍤 Add 1 cup of washed prawns, a pinch of turmeric, and salt to taste.
• ⏳ Fry for 10–15 minutes or until cooked through and slightly crispy.
• 🍽 Remove the prawns and set them aside in a bowl.
2️⃣ Assemble the Sushi Rolls:
• 💦 Take 2 rice paper sheets, soak each in warm water for 15–20 seconds until soft and pliable.
• 📜 Place the softened rice paper on a clean surface or parchment paper.
• 🌊 Layer a piece of sushi seaweed (nori) over the rice paper.
• 🍚 Add a thin layer of cooked sushi rice.
• 🥒🥕 Add cucumber, carrot, and 🥑 avocado slices.
• 🍤 Place the fried shrimp in the center.
• 🌀 Gently roll it up tightly, then cover the roll with another sheet of rice paper for extra stability.
3️⃣ Add Toppings and Fry:
• ⚫⚪ Sprinkle black and white sesame seeds on top of the wrapped sushi roll.
• 🍳 Heat the same pan with a bit more oil if needed.
• 🔄 Gently place the rolls in the pan and fry for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until crispy on all sides.
4️⃣ Serve:
• ⏸ Let the rolls rest for a minute, then 🔪 cut them into bite-sized pieces.
• 🌿 Garnish with white and green sesame seeds.
• 🍶 Serve hot with soy sauce on the side.
