Make Passive Income Online With No Money // Money Ideas for Designers

As designers, we work really hard on developing the skills necessary to stand out. However sometimes we struggle with how to monetize those skills and generate income—whether through freelance or passively. In this video I share 3 ideas to quickly make some side income with the skills you already possess.

1. Freelance - Long gone are the days of going to networking event after networking event passing out business cards. Now it is perfectly convenient to find clients ready to pay for work online in places like Upwork.com, Toptal.com or Fiverr.com

2. Another way to make money is by selling unused designs, templates or UI Kits in places like Creativemarket.com or UI8.net. Design systems are hot right now and while they require a lot of upfront work, they sell like hot cakes for some yummy passive income.

3. Merch! Who doesn't like awesome merch? Back in the day you had to fork up a pretty penny if you wanted to start your own apparel brands. But nowadays you can go to places like Teespring.com, Printify.com or even Merch.Amazon.com and set up your store in minutes. Best of all, you make money with every sale without having to invest up front.
