Life is just for Living happened at Plantation Cove in St. Ann, Jamaica. It is one of the great concerts from the hit reggae series titled Coveside Concerts. Veteran and vehemently talented Jamaican musicians gifted the audience many gems such as "Little Cottage in Negril" by Duane Stephenson, "Ram Goat Liver", "Your Honour", "I Man Born Yah", "Rhythmn of the City" by Pluto Shervington, "Down by the River", "Wash the Tears", "Runaway Bay" and "People like You" by Gramps Morgan and the headliner Ernie Smith whose Life is Just for Living was the theme of the night provided hit after hit individually and in collaboration with the other three performers. Ernie Smith might be 75 years old but he performed with much youthful zest song after song such as Pitta Patta, Bend Down, All for Jesus, Play De Music, Life is Just for Living and one of the crowd's favourite - Duppy Gun Man where he confessed he still didn't know if it was a duppy or gunman lol. It was truly a night to celebrate the greats as they honour us with some of the world's greatest music. Thank you, Coveside Concerts and big up to all our muscians. People often complain about not having enough good/positive music and now that's it here, we all should when we can put our money where our mouth is and let positive happenings know they have the support they need.
