Our adventure begins as we land at Lombok Airport, where I had a nerve-wracking moment after checking in my suitcase with $750 cash inside—luckily, it was still there! We then head to the city of Mataram for a night at the Prime Park Convention Centre, which offered fantastic service and even prepared a full English breakfast for our early 3 AM start.

Watch as we take on the challenging hike, starting at 6 AM, after a restless night of excitement and anxiety. The climb was tough, but reaching the crater rim nearly 8 hours later was worth every step. The breathtaking view of a volcano surrounded by a crystal-clear blue lake was one of the best sights we've ever seen.
