Expression for Lorentz force acting on a charged particle in an em-field has been obtained in terms of electromagnetic potentials. Finding the equation of motion, Lagrangian is obtained. Finally using the general expression for Hamiltonian the expression for Hamiltonian of a charged particle is found in the case of non-relativistic motion.
