Stackoverflow is the service developers, programmers, coders and general IT professionals use all the time. The problem? Stackoverflow code is under a copyleft license called CC-BY-SA. This makes it illegal to use their code unless under the same terms or under the terms of a compatible license such as GPL. Hence, this is why programers, developers and coders should not use code from Stackoverflow in their software.
