Morel Mushroom Hunting In Michigan for my Birthday

On my birthday there was one thing I wanted to do... Find a Morel Mushroom out in the wild!! So far the only place I have found them was in the grocery store. Unfortunately I didn't find any Morel Mushrooms. BUT, I did find a mega sized Charlevoix Stone (similar to a Petoskey Stone). It is 100 times bigger than anything else I have found, which is pretty cool. I guess I am lucky, even though I didn't find any Morels. It was a weird season for Morels because it got warm and then super cold again. Maybe the mostly sprouted late? Or the whole season was sort of dull this year? Comment below and let me know if you found any Morel Mushrooms! Also, the big question is, have you ever eaten a Morel Mushroom?? They are sooooo good!!!
