Texture Thursdays - Texture Study 3 Peacock Feather in Soft Pastels

Welcome to Texture Thursdays, each week I am going to paint a small texture study or maybe even a small painting focusing on an interesting texture. I think this will help my artistic practice & confidence in tackling complicated textures in my paintings, plus its going to be such a fun challenge each week. This week I am trying to capture the texture of a peacock feather with a water drop. I had so much fun with this one between those gorgeous colours and the fun textures.
