How Much Money Should You Spend on a Gift Card?

This is one of my favorite questions because there IS A RIGHT ANSWER. And I won't make you wait long - in just a minute - I share the most important thing you need to know in picking out the best dollar amount to put on a gift card.

As your consumer guide to gift cards, my goal is to help you pick the best gift card for any occasion and use the full value of the gift cards you already have. So this question lines up nicely for both the giver and the receiver. You need to know how much money to put on a gift card and the recipient wants to know how to use it without spending their own money...do you see where I'm going?
