Debunking The 6 Figure Salary - Do You Actually Need To Make 6 Figures?

Hey friends,

I spend a lot of my twenties doing keg stands, chasing girls and dreaming of what it would be like to make a 6 figure salary.

The first two things turned out as poorly as one would predict but finally making the six figure salary?...that one surprisingly wasn't as cut and dry and I'd imagined.

I think most of us have this number in our mind as a financial benchmark to attain. And while I would never discourage someone from pursuing their financial and career goals wholeheartedly, I would like to add a bit of balance to an assumption that seems to lack any nuance i.e. 6 figures = better life.

In this video I tell the story of two fictional professionals, John and Susan. I talk about the variables/obstacles that often come with making a six figure income and invite you to decide how important this number actually is to you.
