Virginia's Ingalls Field (KHSP) and Eagle's Nest (W13)

It's a day of aviation extremes in Virginia! First, we're off to Eagle's Nest (W13) in Waynesboro. With a runway of just 2,000', it's the shortest paved public use strip in the Commonwealth. After that, we're off to the mountains and Ingalls Field (KHSP) in Hot Springs. At a field elevation of 3,792', it's the highest public airfield in the country east of the Mississippi. And as always, we take in some amazing mountain views all the way. So come along and join the fun!
