Eve Online Thanatos tutorial with discussion on DCUs and the Triage module

Introduction to fitting and piloting an Eve Online T1 carrier, specifically the Thanatos. The first part in my carrier tutorial series. Following this series, I will cover the planning and execution of jumping a carrier.

I use this fit while ratting in null sec only when local is completely clear of neuts and reds, and always maintain alignment to a safe place (pos, station without bubble or neuts) in the event that a neut enters system. Never lost a carrier yet and don't plan to lose one ever. The only way I might lose it is if a friendly blue pointed my ship, at which time I would call for help from my standing fleet and engage triage if I couldn't force the point off the field with my drones and warp off.
