San Andreas Definitive Edition “classic lighting” - Is it faithful to the PS2?

Does the new "classic lighting" update for San Andreas really restore the original look?

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition launched with a multitude of bugs. The original look from the PS2 was gone, and instead we were left with "next-gen graphics". In this video, we will be doing a direct comparison between GTA San Andreas on the PS2 and the PS5, as well as comparing them both to the DE pre-patch.

GTA Vice City and GTA 3 have also received classic lighting updates, and I'll be looking at them too to see if they hold up with their PlayStation 2 counterparts!
